 Introduction

Easy way Saving and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. which is situated in Putalisadak, Kathmandu District.Easy way saving and credit co-operative society ltd was established by various profession, business and fields who came to Kathmandu keeping in consideration the universal principle of values and rules of co-operative, uniting different people and groups from different religion, culture, race, profession and business with the objective of improving the economic and social condition of the members by making them self – dependent and frugal with the promotion of the habit of regular saving and the use of the collected savings in productive fields. The main aim of organizing the cooperative was to fulfill the basic financial needs of the poor and deprived people through a well established and sustainable financial institution with members’ control and financial participation.

Our mission is to provide quickly and easily accessed savings, credit and other financial and non financial services at a competitive price to raise the socio-economic status of members.

Objectives

Our main objective is to make important contribution in country development by raising the financial and social status of our members after establishing collective capital by collecting small saving amount from people who cannot reach banks and financial institutions but have the desire to do something.

  1. To encourage value of self reliance, mutual cooperation and saving among the people.
  2. To accept saving and provide credit services at reasonable rates of interest.
  3. To encourage and provide support for increasing members’ income.
  4. To accept technical and financial assistance from different agencies.
  5. To create a feeling of cooperation among cooperatives and line agencies.
  6. To organize and carry out different income generation programs.
  7. To assist the poor and the deprived people in their effort for socio-economic up liftment.
  8. To accept and provide loans from/to other institutions.
  9. To organize seminars and workshops on cooperative promotion and development.
